Almost every brand that comes to us has no problem with design. They have simply lost track of what they stand for, or they turned into something other than what they started out as. A new logo does not fix that. First you need to know who your customer is and why they pick you instead of the other one. Everything we design or build afterwards follows from that choice, which makes this the cheapest part of the work and the part the rest depends on.
When this comes up
- You sell well but nobody can retell what your brand stands for
- You have grown and the old story no longer fits
- Your competitors all say the same thing and so do you
- You have to choose between two directions and have no grounds to choose on
How we do it
Finding out
Conversations with you and with your customers, numbers from your own channels, and an honest look at who else is standing in your corner. We do not start with what you want to project, but with what currently comes across.
Choosing a position
Where is the space nobody is taking, and does that space suit what you are genuinely good at? That is the choice everything else follows from, and it is the one step you have to be in the room for.
Writing it down
A brand story in plain language, in the words you will actually use. Short enough to remember, concrete enough for your team to work with.
What falls under this

- Brand positioningWhere your brand stands in the market and why that place is yours. Written down in plain language.
